This nickel-based super alloy powder is similar to alloy 718 and engineered with ceramic constituents, which are designed to enable effective bonding while adhering minimally when cold sprayed using nitrogen carrier gas. Deposits can be ground by either silicon carbide or diamond media. VRC NI05 has low porosity and is inertly vacuum sealed for long shelf life and transport. VRC NI05 can be vacuum packaged in 1, 2.5, 10-pound bags.
